Glock 44 Update - Just got my G44 ..shoots great but main reason for this purchase...lots of cheap ammo to shoot...and weighs next to nothing...completely stuffed in my pants all day Never put ... bottom line buy one
We bought a new Glock 44 and proceeded to cut it in the field - great gun to shoot! Apparently the trigger was "interesting" after shooting the Sig Legion but adjusted easily after a magazine or two. It's a Glock - get it. Gen 5 G19 aftermarket triggers will work in this case as well. Cheap to shoot, reasonably accurate and just plain fun! Anyone who owns a Glock should get a brick and a few in .22 LR. Be sure to use high speed RDS for proper cycling. And cleaning - typical Glock (joy!).
Glock 44 Update
Got a nice practice pistol, similar to the g19 but no weight. A few things are different inside. Wish it would hold more rounds 10 plus 1 .Maybe someone will make a mag to hold more. Every time there is no problem and everything is just a glock fire. Thanks Glock
Esaz Opgv2 Universal Optic Mount For Glocks
I've had the g44 for about a week, well worth the wait. About 500 rounds fired, with one problem, it doesn't like the remington flash, lots of fte and every case split, not sure why, maybe rifled chamber?
I am such a Glock fan. Birthday coming up so had to get a Glock my 3rd Glock after the 17 gen4 and 19x. I bought for the same reasons some of you did. Ammo is very cheap and the price of the G44 doesn't hurt the pocketbook.
My G44 worked great right out of the box. Tried several different brands of ammo and it shot them all, only one stovepipe in 200 shots. I would recommend it, very easy and fun to shoot.
Fired a mine for the first time last night. 150 round CCI mini-mag. Great gun, very fun to shoot. No misfires. I wonder about the motivation behind the negative reviews that are posted all over the internet. I hear people say, "I don't like Glocks", well, whatever, I just know that when I need to carry to protect myself, the Glock is the gun I take. . It works exactly as I expected. My vote is to get one! Very fun and great for training.
Do Glock Guns Jam?
After reading many reviews, I didn't expect much from this gun other than problems. I work in a gun shop and also own a few Glocks, so I bought it as a guinea pig to see if it was as bad as everyone says. I disassembled, cleaned and oiled the gun before hitting the range. Just got back from my first range trip with the 250 thunder and 50 short and out of all 300 shots there was only 1 foot and 1 failure to lock the slide. So far, the only common complaint I've really had is that this gun just doesn't hit me on target. It consistently hits 4 inches at 12 yards. I hope Glock fixes this as there is no adjustment to lower the factory rear sights, so this gun will need a higher front sight to shoot poa, hence the 4 stars. With a new front sight, this gun will see a lot more range time. Probably one of my favorite ways to shoot. I do not regret my purchase.
After owning and carrying a GLOCK G19 '9mm' for so many years, I opted to purchase a G44 for my wife. New shooter, no experience, so my goal was to make it a fear factor for her. Less recoil, less noise, just 100% comfortable and fun shooting experience. And that's exactly what this GLOCK delivers! If you shoot quality ammo at 40 grains or larger, you will have no misfires. I purposely have to reload a few rounds of "semi-powder" into my 9mm so I can take the occasional stovepipe, fail feed, etc. for practice purposes! These guns are 100% reliable, easy to shoot, easy to work on, and I bet my life on them!
Bought in February 2020 and love it. A month later I bought 2 Promag 18 round magazines. Forget bulk ammo, use quality ammo like CCI. This gun is definitely dead on point and fire. A full polish and launch worked, going to 3lbs, fast and crisp.
I bought this gun when it was first available. I have made hundreds of rounds through this gem. Ammunition used from low end bulk to high end match grade. Myb44 never disappoints with how much fun the pistol is to shoot. I love it
First Practical Test + Video: The Glock 44 Rimfire Pistol On The Shooting Range
Bought this glock 44 about 6/7 months ago even though the reviews were bad about reliability. I have put hundreds of cartridges in and never had a problem with any of them. It just goes to show that you can't trust all reviews. This is an excellent gun to shoot. Cheap to shoot and great for beginners as well as experienced shooters like me. I highly recommend it.
Bought one after getting rid of my Taurus TX 22 Lr and oiled and cleaned according to the manual. 500 rounds later CCI mini mags and only one hob. My gun is dead center, so I'm lucky I have an extended slide lock, which is great for cleaning duty. I put in a custom trigger with a 3lb pull. no regrets I have a Hogue pistol grip and it fits like a glove. I use it to warm up before using my Glock 17 gen 5, with the same internals and customizations as my Glock 44. Parts are available if you look around. Thing is, it uses the same extended slide lock and extended slide release as my Glock 17. Both pistols also have a brass magazine slide, both are the same size. So there is no need to guess. Alas! 3.0 connector on both guns. So both my Glock 17 and Glock 44 are identical in almost everything, except weight of course. You will not regret buying this gun even if it only has a 10 round magazine. We may earn a commission when you make a purchase through links on our site. Learn more here.

Glock 44: The Austrian Rimfire Review
In late 2019, long before the world knew anything about COVID-19 and what seems like a lifetime ago now, Glock released the 44. Austrian Tupperware company's long-awaited entry into the edgefire market has been speculated for years. The weapon launch event was also full of fanfare and self-congratulatory adulation.
Glock's reputation as the standard bearer of reliability and simplicity will depend on the 44 doing the job, and they did not disappoint. Like any other Glock, the 44 is a tough and proven piece of kit.
At first glance, 44 shouldn't seem all that remarkable. The .22 Long Rifle cartridge is a different beast than the more ubiquitous centerfire cartridges that house the Glock.
Introduced by the new Smith & Wesson Company in 1857, the small-bore .22 rimmed cartridge (then smaller and filled with black powder) was produced with a larger rim. All the better for the revolvers it was made for.
