In my opinion, if you are down to a forged AK, the KNS piston is a very worthwhile investment. It's rare for me to actually print another weapon, but over the past week I've been very happy with the ACE/KNS combination. Today the chance of seeing GLOGIUM 44 with a dead air mask of silent rimfire is lowered. I've been eagerly awaiting the chance to get my hands on the new G44 for months now and luckily I landed a few hours before it was time for our quiet weekend discussion.
Since the initial announcement a few weeks ago, the internet has been buzzing with ideas about the latest Glock release – and believe me, everyone has heard it. Without excluding other rimfire models from other manufacturers – there are some truly excellent .22LR pistols on the market – the Glock 44 fills a void that has always been empty. These pistols have the exact same dimensions as the most common concealed weapons in the world, with the same ergonomics, the same hand tools and the same classic feel of the pistol grip. All while reliably firing the inexpensive .22LR cartridge.

With an MSRP a shade above $400, the GLOSSA 44 is a bit more expensive than other deals. Unfortunately, this price does not cover the price of the yarn barrel that is sold as a kit and is likely to have a street price of around $125. I hope someday Glock will offer a suppressor ready G44 barrel package that includes suppressor mounts for larger diameter barrels.

The Glock 44 barrel is converted to M9 X.75 metric specification and includes a thread protector and adapter that converts it to standard 1/2 x 28 specification. More controversy arose when the cyber world wanted 1/2 x 28 threaded rods. As you can see from the pictures, the G44 diameter barrel does not support the 1/2 x 28 thread model, also note that the thread adapter does not add much length over the metric threads.
If you can give a ball field, you can turn the string into a barrel. Remember the four basic safety rules and when in doubt, always refer to your owner's manual for official instructions.
Small thread M9; Wire protection is about half the size of a 1/2×28 wire protection.
The Glock G44 barrel has a clean crown. We will do some accuracy comparisons in a later review.
Slr G48 Slide
As mentioned above, the 1/2 x 28 adapter slides over the barrel with an internal shoulder, reducing the amount of extra length that the stock has.
This photo is a little misleading, but the G44 barrel thread is slightly longer than the stock G44 barrel.
The overall appearance is bright and shiny. A smaller diameter barrel minimizes access holes for using stock sights. It is depicted with a dead air mask. 22 silencer.
Having been in the G44 case for a few hours, you'll forgive my lack of defense and diversity of silence. I used a clean subsonic and high speed CCI with a dead air mask. Both defense systems were functioning properly.

The suppressor is great and works great on the G44. Pushing the host, the G44 does not disappoint. It feels exactly like the Gen 5 G19 (although it's a bit lighter) without all the noise and reverb.

I am trying to ask (if anyone knows for sure) does the Gen 5 Safariland holster work?
We also recently purchased a Bianchi holster for a Glock 19 and it fits well. Sorry I can't talk about Safariland.

The original G44 does not have the blue gun shown on the Gen5......fingers that were eliminated with the G5 iterations.

The G44 Safariland G19 holster will not fit unless you remove the face that accommodates the rifle. The barrel axis is said to be under 44, and of course it is a small diameter.
